The Young Trombone Collective (YTC) consists of a selection of Dutch trombonists between the ages of 12 and 18.

This breeding ground has existed since Slide Factory 2009, in which young talents are coached by members of the New Trombone Collective.

Contact with other talented young people from all over the Netherlands offers them inspiration to progress in their artistic and personal development. By offering them coaching and a special playing experience, they are motivated to push boundaries and persevere in music.

Many of these young trombonists have now successfully graduated from the conservatory and many have a successful career both within and outside the music world. The age limit of the YTC is 18 years; the oldest members always make way for a younger generation.

Over the years, the YTC has performed from Friesland to Limburg and at the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam. In 2022, the YTC even won the Chamber Music Competition Gelre in Nijmegen.
